This ongoing course is ideal to learn mindful breathing techniques, how to raise focus, curiosity and compassion. This class is for everyone who wants to experience the benefits of mindfulness and meditation. They are excellent tools that can help kids/teens to cope better, be more focused, train their brain and support their heart to feel more joy. Practicing mindfulness/meditation daily is like gaining a superpower that help us overcome situations we could face every day. In this course we will meet once a week and cycle back to week one every semester A typical class session looks like: -Physical warms up -Guided Breathing Practice and Mindfulness activities -Talking/sharing thoughts, feelings and new learnings. -Cool down / Closing What we will learn 📌Week of May 1st- Describing my emotions 📌Week of May 8th- Identifying my emotions in my body 📌Week of May 15th- No class 📌Week of May 22- Describing others' emotions 📌Week of May 29 - Range of emotions 📌Week of June 5th - Managing emotions
