Each week in this class we will learn a new first grade math concept. Then we will complete a printable math worksheet together, and finally play a game to practice the skill. This class will go through and teach many of the First Grade standards. There will be lots of fun printables to practice with after class! Sundays at 4:15 pm July 7 & 14 - No Class July 21 - Week 17: Add Two-digit and One-digit numbers June 28 - Week 18: Add Two -digit numbers Aug 4 - Week 19: Order and Compare Length Aug 11 - Week 20: Shapes Aug 18 - Week 21: Putting Shapes together Aug 25 - Week 22: Break Shapes into Equal Parts This session is ending after this class please join us for my 2nd grade math class or one of my other sections of my 1st grade class! Parents should be nearby to help with any technology issues but do not necessarily need to sit with their child. As always, parents are welcome to sit off camera with their learner if they wish or their child needs additional support. Students who attend this class should either be currently enrolled in first grade OR currently in Kindergarten and being successful with kindergarten curriculum and are ready for more complex math. This class is also appropriate for students who have completed first grade math already but are struggling with math concepts.

This class includes explicit and systematic instruction which is recommended for students with learning needs. I am a licensed special education teacher with experience teaching students with ADHD, ASD, and many other learning needs.

Students should either be currently enrolled in 1st grade OR currently in K and being successful with K curriculum and are ready for more complex math. This class is also for students in 2nd who need to review 1st math concepts.
