This lesson provides several positive learning outcomes.  By focusing on digital art, the learners are able to gain a deeper understanding of how it is created and used in today's world, and how useful it can be in a variety of ways.  Other learning outcomes include positive communication and critical thinking skills.  Group discussion during the presentation and activity promotes positive communication, as does sharing the artwork in the concluding discussion.  Additionally, the learners will utilize critical thinking skills by applying, analyzing and synthesizing their prior knowledge and experiences into the class discussion as well as into the digital painting they create.
