수업 소개
Are you a fan of Roblox? This class is all about gaming and strategizing while we practice our social skills! We will meet up on a teacher-hosted, private server - where we can safely play and chat in a moderated session. This one-on-one gaming session gives the learner an opportunity to express themself and receive direction on social interaction while having fun playing their favorite games. This class will help us gain confidence in talking with others, it will help us practice kindness, show off our Roblox skills, and share game tips! It's an opportunity to build on social skills and to practice speaking and listening in a safe, familiar environment. Each week we will play one game picked by the teacher and one to two learners' choice games. The games we will play will vary but here is the list we will choose from: Epic Mini Games Find the Marker Find the Boxes Bee Swarm Don't Press the Button Natural Disaster Survival Plane Crazy Find the Marker My Zoo Tycoon Alpha PolySonic RP Find the Animals Build a Boat Roblox app and Roblox account are required. If possible the learner should play Roblox on a separate device (iPhone, iPad, Tablet, or another computer) from what they take their Outschool class on to have the best social experience possible. Please send me your child's Roblox user name after you've enrolled so I can add them as a friend. I can't wait to see you in class!

My name is Sean Forfar. I am a lifelong learner and love to share that experience with others. I have a Bachelors in Teaching with a minor in Business Management. I have been a teacher for the past 14 years but have moved to online teaching for the past three years. I have a teenage son, who I've home-schooled, and he loves adventure and learning as much as I do! My classes are full of energy and interaction. Life and learning should be experienced, not just dictated. My student's expressions and views are valuable and encouraged in class. My hobbies include reading, writing, hiking, rock climbing, and swimming (preferably near a waterfall I can jump off!) I teach Public Speaking, Writing, American Sign Language, and Social Skills.
