The structure of the class is we begin with introduction and after we know each other each week, we will discuss what the student has been doing since the last class. If they cannot speak English enough to tell me, I will work with them through TPR (total physical response) methods. 

All ages and all levels are welcome. Since this is a one on one class, I can design the class for each child individually. 

My approach is to create a fun atsmosphere where they don't feel the hard work of learning a new language.

After the conversation at the beginning of class, we spend the bulk of the class doing varying activies. I like to find the positive in every student and teach from the perspective of upbeat conversation and activities. I teach using a wide variety of activities so that each week the student will do something different. This helps keep them engaged. They get to have fun while learning and this leads them to become better educated. I use my own worksheets, my own Kahoot games, personalized worksheets based on their level and interest, also fill in the blank for them to discuss their personal answers like family names, favorite things to do, etc., as well as many other tools.

Near the end of class, we review what was learned. We work on conversation, grammar, building their vocabulary and writing. The entire class is interactiving with me no matter what we are doing.

I make sure the student doesn't get frustrated with material that is very challenging, so when I sense they are beginning to feel that way, I change to something that makes them feel successful.

My goal is to make them feel good about themselves and good about learning English.
