Welcome! My name is Mrs. Mills and I am SO excited to help your child gain knowledge and confidence in math.

In this class, your child will receive 1:1, individualized instruction in specific math concepts that they need additional support with. These can either be concepts that they have struggled with in their most recent grade, or can be concepts that are a type of enrichment for them to help push them to the next level. 
Examples of topics may include, but not limited to: adding and subtracting with and without regrouping, introduction to multiplication, building multiplication fluency, fractions (introduction, identifying, adding/subtracting, equivalent fractions, mixed numbers, etc.), measurement, and graphs. 

Math is my PASSION and I do whatever it takes to make it fun and engaging for learners. I guarantee that your child will have fun learning math while working with me.  We begin each session with a math joke and will incorporate a variety of teaching styles to meet each learner's needs. I believe that ALL students have the ability to learn math given the right strategies and instruction. 

As a teacher for many years, I have a ton of resources already available, but if there is something specific you would like to me to use with your child please let me know. 

*As I plan my lessons to best meet your child's needs, please let me know their grade, how they learn best, what areas they do well in, and where they need more work. Also, please let me know what specific topic/standards you would like me to cover.
