In this personalized one-on-one tutoring session, learners will receive support based on the math topics they're needing help with to compete a homework assignment, prepare for a test or just get extra practice to master the concept. ⭐Potential 6th grade math topics (not limited to): ✏️Prime Factorization ✏️Greatest Common Factor ✏️Least Common Multiple ✏️Classifying Angles and Triangles ✏️Coordinate Plane ✏️Simplifying Fractions ✏️Mixed Numbers & Improper Fractions ✏️Adding & Subtracting Fractions ✏️Multiplying & Dividing Fractions ✏️Adding, Subtracting, Multiplying and Dividing Decimals ✏️Adding, Subtracting, Multiplying and Dividing Integers ✏️Percent, Fractions, and Decimals ✏️Exponents ✏️Order of Operations ✏️Expressions ✏️Square Root ✏️One-Step and Two-Step Equations ✏️Solving Equations ✏️Solving and Graphing One-Step and Two-Step Inequalities ✏️Finding Area ✏️Finding Volume ✏️Pythagorean Theorem ✏️Circumference of Circles ✏️Mean, Median, Mode, and Range ⭐Classroom Structure Introductions & get to know you activity Discuss the learning objective Lesson format-I do, We do, You do. I will model the skill, we will work collaboratively to solve the problem, and finally, the student will practice independently and receive immediate feedback I will use a virtual whiteboard to solve math problems, the learned will need either paper or a handheld whiteboard and a writing utensil Class will be closed with a reflection on our learning objective ⭐This class will be offered on a request basis, please send me a message with the topic you'd like me to work on with your learner and/or a copy of the homework or test 24 hours in advance so I can start working on tailoring your tutoring session to meet your learner's needs. Together we can come up with a time that works best. Feel free to reach out with any questions, I'll be happy to answer them all.
