Beginner 레벨
Students will daily learn about one of the following: Seashells, coral, fish, and other sea life either through google images or specimens I bring to the classroom. The scientific topics will be mollusks, cnidarians, fish, and typical tide pool inhabitants. Artistically, we will brainstorm orally how can we artistically recreate them while viewing images or specimens. Students will be doing artistic sketching, painting, or sculpturing to depict the different specimens they have viewed...
Students will learn the science of certain sea creatures. Then concentrate on two art projects for their final day. They will present them on Gallery day in our last class.
I am an Art minor with a major in Biology. I love both. I have taught both subjects over a period of thirty-five years. It is my joy to bring this to the online community.

Their understanding of ocean life will be assessed with an oral exam. Art is assessed by the student's creative ability to present it using different media of their choice. They must know what it is from a scientific point of view and explain why they chose to artistically express it with the mediums they chose.제공되는 성적
Students should have various art media. The minimum would be 2 sheets of black paper, 3 different color sheets, white paper, color pencils, markers, bottle, glue, acrylic, popsicle stick (or small spatula) or fabric paints (4 different colors). Extras could be cotton balls, chalk, yarn, beads, pompoms of different sizes, playdoh, watercolors, etc.
