In this one-time class, students will learn about the ten biggest whales in the world! Who is bigger, the fin whale or humpback whale? Find out this answer and many more in this fun engaging class exploring the biggest creatures on planet earth. 

In the class, students will not only get to learn about the ten biggest whale in the world are, but will also get a more in-depth look at each of these incredible creatures. We will explore where they're from, just how big they are, and other unique facts that have helped these animals become true champions of the animal kingdom. 

Since the class, is focus on letting kids explore their curiosity and love of animals, students will be encouraged to share their knowledge and to ask lots of questions to discover new revelations about the animal kingdom. I believe students learn best when having fun in a supportive environment that encourages them to express their thoughts and opinions. 

At the start of each class, students will be encouraged to make a prediction about which animals they think will be on my list. The class will be done as a multimedia presentation including fun facts, videos, and if possible sound clips of the animals. At the end, we will talk about what the students have learned and which animals they liked the most.

Students are welcome to bring their favorite whale object, photos, or toys to share with the class. Snacks are welcome too!

Parental Guidance
In this class will be talking about animals. We will cover topics like what they ate, how they hunted, killed, and other of behaviors. This could include images or short clips of animals attacking other animals with the goal to kill them, while I will not display any gruesome images/videos, the content could possibly be scary to some children.
