This is a 6 week class where the students will read through chapters of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone each week. Each class we will be discussing the chapters we read, going over vocabulary for the chapters and answering discussion questions. Every student will need a copy of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J.K. Rowling and each week they will need to read the chapters before the next class. Students will learn to establish their own thoughts while reading a book and sharing them with others. We will be looking at new vocabulary for each of the chapters and discussing what we think about what has happened, is happening and will happen as we move through the book.
