These story times will be fun, engaging, and interactive. During class we will read and imagine our way through lots of different children's authors such as Robert Munsch and Laura Numeroff. Before we read we will use my wiggle dice to get all of our wiggles out. The items on my wiggle dice change every month. The items are different things that we see you our stories. -Reading provides many benefits. -Colouring page allows them to work on fine motor skills. -Discussion time allows them to learn socialization skills such as taking turns, listening, and speaking to others. -Book conversation allows for them to be able to recall and process all they heard during the story time. This class is meant to allow learners to discover the joy and benefits of reading.
I have been working in preschool and early childhood class rooms for over 12 years. I am now a stay at home mom to my 3 children and run a home based preschool. I love circle times and story times, they are my two favourite times of the day! It is the perfect blend of fun and learning all in one. I strive to make every learner who enters my classroom feel comfortable, happy and confident.
