새로운 글렌 로켓 발사 파티! 블루 오리진의 첫 번째 궤도 발사

Blue Origin, the rocket company founded by Jeff Bezos, is launching the worlds 2nd largest operational rocket on Saturday Night (Jan 11th)
New Glenn (the new rocket) is 322ft tall (98m), is designed for launching new Space Stations and Moon Landers, as well as people and satellites.

NASA has contracted Blue Origin to use a New Glenn (in a few years) to land the Cargo & Astronauts on the Moon. It is also has  it's next mission to launch some Satellites to Mars in the a few months. 

**I want to make it clear that as this is a maiden voyage it is highly susceptible to "scrub". Scrub is when they cancel the launch for the day, due to something getting in the way of launching the rocket. 
With this in mind, the day/time may move and if so we will do our best to accommodate the new time. **

This launch of New Glenn is a test flight to learn and practice and try new things. This one is testing a lot, since it is their first orbital launch, but they are not being shy about having huge goals. Besides the actual rocket and payload, they are also going to try to land the booster, using the rocket engines, on a boat in the ocean. (So far only SpaceX has ever done that, and nobody else has even tried in the last 9 years since the first success, so this is a big deal!)

New Glenn will carry the prototype DarkSky-1 Blue Ring Pathfinder, consisting of communications array, power systems, and a flight computer affixed to a secondary payload adapter ring, remaining attached to the 2nd stage. This launch will serve as New Glenn's first National Security Space Launch certification flight.
