STEAM stands for Science/Technology/Engineering/Arts/Math. This craft club challenges students to take simple craft supplies along with items that often end up in the trash or recycling bin and turn them into something else. Each week there will be a craft project to match an environmental science topic. As a former classroom teacher with plenty of experience leading groups of students, it is my pleasure to lead your little learner in some fun crafts while creating an opportunity for socialization and a way to use up some of your excess household supplies! Crafts are a regular activity in our household and all of these crafts are kid-tested-and-approved by this mother's young daughter.
Supplies for each week will be posted in the classroom.
At the end of each class, supplies for the following week will be posted in the classroom. Please make sure your child comes prepared with the supplies for the craft. Additionally, please be available assist them with items like scissors and glue, if needed.
