수업 경험
In this one-time class, students will learn how to do several types of nail art designs, using tools that are commonly found at home. We will do:
a sharpie watercolors nail
a stone marble nail
a seasonal design
a water marble
an ombre nail
Learners will also learn how to use school glue as a barrier when painting nails.
I will demonstrate the techniques...Students will take their nail art to the next level, expanding not only their skill set, but their creativity as well.
I am a homeschooling mom of five kids, ranging in age from ten to nineteen. We are diving into our 6th year of homeschool and we love it. I have a passion for both education and creativity and I love combining the two whenever I can. When I'm not teaching (my kids or someone else's), I run a business based purely on creativity and art. Traveling (and 8 years of formal classes) gave me a handle on the Spanish language. I have a background in general education from 19 years of combined experience teaching in public and charter school settings, as well as tutoring one on one, ESL, and running various camps and activities. My experience ranges from childcare (infant) age all the way through high school age and includes work with neurodiverse and special needs students, as well as students with mental health issues. I have a passion for, and educational background in Graphic Art/Design, however, my degrees are AA in Liberal Studies and a BA in General Studies with a concentration in Psychology. I am also TESOL certified.
Nail polish in several different colors (learner's choice of colors) White or Light colored nail polish Clear nail polish Toothpicks (A few) Small piece of saran wrap or tin foil Tweezers A makeup sponge A small cup with room temperature water Several small paint brushes (nail art brushes are not necessary, but the bristles need to be flexible) Several colors of sharpies Rubbing alcohol
Nail art can tend to be an inherently messy activity. Please make sure that your learner has a space where they can see our lesson and participate, but also make a mess without ruining your favorite couch or their device.
