수업 소개
This is the second part of these series of classes. In My Hero Academia, the constant fights between heroes and villains do not necessarily give a clear definition of good versus evil. This class will give learners the opportunity to analyze various world leaders. They will have a chance to determine if the leaders would qualify as a hero or as a villain depending on the learner's definition of what makes a person a hero versus a villain. We will discuss the various hero agencies and which agency each world leader we discuss would belong to. All together we will look at 8 different world leaders from various centuries and various parts of the world. This class is 60% social studies where we will cover the histories of these various leaders as well as their geographical locations. The other 40% would be My Hero Academia discussions. When we look at the world leaders, we will talk about their childhood, their journey to power, how they used their power, and in what condition was their world in when their reign ended. I will use slide shows for visuals. On the last day of class, learners are welcome to present their conclusion about each leader that we discussed. They are to talk about how they came to the conclusion of each leader's role if he/she was a character in My Hero Academia. ** Learners are always welcome to cosplay during class. They are also invited to show their art work. I would like to invite all artists to create their very own original characters (OCs) based on the world leaders that we discuss. Class 1: We take a look at the different hero agencies and what they stand for. Prior to class, learners should have taken an MHA quiz that would help them see which hero they are most similar to and which agency they would have been accepted into. We will also look at the two categories of the villain organizations. In the later classes, if learners decide that a world leader is a villain, we will talk about which organization would they have joined? Class 2: Atilla the Hun (the Huns) Class 3: Napoleon Bonaparte (France) Class 4: Abraham Lincoln (USA) Class 5: Simón Bolívar (South America) Class 6: Indira Ghandi (India) Class 7: Fidel Castro (Cuba) Class 8: Angela Merkel (Germany) Class 9: Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila (Namibia) Class 10: Putting it all together with class presentations. Though I will not require it, I highly recommend each learner to present their work on each leader or on their favorite leader. In a world that is often divided based on individual's opinion of good and evil, I would like to challenge learners to take a stand and be able to defend it. I challenge all other learners who disagree to have an open mind and be willing to analyze further why they think what they think. This class invites all My Hero Academia fans to learn history in a more entertaining way. Heroes and villains do exist in our world, it all depends on us and how we define them. I look forward to having discussions with your learners.

교사 전문성 및 자격증
As a My Hero Academia fan and a history buff, it is only natural seems like, for me to put the two together. When I have discussions with my learners on My Hero Academia, I realized that there are heroes and villains in our world today and in the past. Not all heroes and villains are equal though and it is up to us to see why world leaders take the actions that they take. It is up to us to see the motivations behind each action and decide for ourselves what we stand for.
