At the end of the eight week session, singers will be able to * Feel comfortable singing in a group * Sing using their high, middle, and low voices as appropriate * Use the Curwen hand signs and sing various patterns of tonic sol-fa * Match more complex rhythmic and melodic patterns * Demonstrate proper breathing and posture for singing * Sing at least one complete song * Feel comfortable taking the occasional leadership role with the group
Ms. Annette has a PA Music Education certification and has been teaching singing to individuals and groups for over 20 years. She is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) and has also worked as a teaching artist with a variety of non-profit organizations.
