Content covered will be geared toward the needs of the student and what they would like to improve: 1) Tone quality 2) Note reading 3) Rhythm & beat skills 4) Range (high and low notes) 5) Articulation (single, double, and triple tonguing) 6) Dynamics 7) Emotion and expression 8) Scales 9) Vibrato 10) Confidence In lessons, we will review last week's assignment, review concepts taught, demonstration and development of new skills, and assign material for the next lesson to reinforce new material. The teacher will model on his instrument any and all concepts taught, and student will play his/her instrument to demonstrate understanding.

Instrument method book (recommended by the teacher) 6. A music stand
