In this interactive and engaging class, students will explore several ways to multiply numbers! We’ll look at methods beyond the traditional approach, showing that math isn’t one-size-fits-all. Class Outline:

3. Break Apart (Distributive Property) (10 minutes)

•	Explain how to break numbers apart using the distributive property.
•	Example: 23 × 4 becomes (20 × 4) + (3 × 4).
•	Show why this method can make multiplication simpler by working with easier numbers.


4. Lattice Multiplication (10 minutes)

•	Introduce the visual lattice method for multiplication.
•	Guide students through an example: Multiply 23 × 47 using a lattice grid.
•	Discuss how this method can help when multiplying larger numbers.
