Welcome to Ms. Kelly's ongoing Among Us class where young learners will be able to meet to share some strategies and tips of Among Us all while playing on a safe server. We will discuss tasks, communication, and victory strategies for both the crewmates and imposters. We will use a spinner wheel which will choose the map we will play and try to go through as many maps as we can during our class time. During this class, we will play as many rounds as time permits, which can depend on class size as well as how fast the game progresses. • How Will a Safe Environment be Created? 1. I will always play the game. 2. The game will be set to private (only open to those in the session) by giving a code to only those in the class 3. The Among US chat feature in the game will not be used to communicate but etiquette will be taught on how to use the chat feature for future games they may play outside of this session. Communication for game strategizing will happen through the zoom session as a guided discussion led by the teacher. Are you ready to play the most popular new game of the year???? Let's have fun!!! ***If the minimum number of learners (3) do not sign up for the class, we are unable to play the game Among Us and you will be offered a transfer or full refund.

• Ideal Playing Conditions and Attitude:
1. Students should ideally have 2 devices for the class in order to have zoom open for discussion and then be able to play Among Us on the other one. The mobile APP is free and it is best if the game is downloaded prior to class time so that they are ready to play when they enter class.
2. Students will be expected to treat everyone in the classroom with respect at all times.
3. Students must be both a good winner and be able to handle defeat with grace. Since we will both be discussing how to have victories for the imposters and crew members.
4. Students must be ready for appropriate social confrontation within the setting of the game and understand that it is all in good fun for the game. (proper language will always be used)
5. Students must be ready to not get the 'Imposter' role for the duration of the class since it is randomly assigned. Also, possibly not receive their color of choice as a character.

Hello! I’m Kelly Miller and thank you for showing interest in my classes. My passion is teaching in any form and always having fun in class. I also want to make sure all learners are able to be heard and have a chance to express what they enjoy about our classes.
I was an Emergency Medical Technician for over 20 years while in the Air Force which led me to be an EMT instructor trainer and CPR instructor trainer. I have a Master's degree in leadership and disaster preparedness/emergency management and a Bachelor's degree in Social Psychology. However, I am also TESOL certified and since retiring from the Air Force, I have been teaching English as a Second Language online and I have found a great love in it. The relationships that I have with my students are wonderful and I have found a passion for teaching children.
I am also a mom to a 19-year-old high-functioning Autistic high college freshman and a 10-year-old all-star cheer daughter whom I home school. I have a great passion for making learning FUN and ENGAGING! I believe that students learn best while having fun. So whether that is dancing, singing, playing games, or having fun by being silly, that’s what we will do. I can’t wait to see your student in the class.리뷰
