수업 소개

영어 수준 - 알 수 없음
미국 Kindergarten학년 - 1학년 학년
This class will be very laid back. We will start each class by greeting one another and talking a little bit. I will encourage students to grab a snack and get in their comfy spot as I get ready to read to them. I have a fun opening song/chant that we will do each class to get us ready to listen. Then I will share the book that I will be reading to them. We will discuss it a bit and then dive in to reading it. Throughout the book I will give students a chance to interact with the story and with me. After we finish the book we will have a bit more discussion about the story and then move into the activity that goes along with it. As we wrap up the class we will share what we have done with the activity and say goodbye to each other until next time.

Storytelling is one of my very favorite things to do with children. In my 25 years as a classroom teacher and reading specialist, I have collected and shared quite a few of my favorite read aloud books with my students. I love to make the stories come alive and engage the children as we read. I always like to do a follow-up activity that goes along with the story as well.
