Learners will gain a better understanding of the operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, while practicing place value and exchanging quantities at the bank.

I've taught pre-school and elementary school classes with hands-on math throughout my career. I love interacting with young learners and making sure that their learning is meaningful!

This class pairs well with the addition snake game which is held at the same time on Wednesdays.

While this is a Montessori approach to elementary math, the Stamp Game itself is not limited to only Montessori. It is a concrete approach that pairs well with any curriculum. For example, Singapore math uses a drawn version of this material in their books. Many other "common core" programs will physically represent place value by writing the numbers 1, 10, 100, 1000 on squares. The Stamp Game is exactly the same idea.
