❤️This tutorial is designed for young learners who already know one sound for each letter and need guidance as they practice 1-word phonetic reading with short vowel sounds and blends. 

❤️ CLASS CONTENT: 
Via screen-sharing: 
1️⃣ 🎶 with an original slideshow we sing a letter-sound song for the entire alphabet, then sing the ABC Song!

2️⃣ 🖼️ I introduce eight colorful photos, focusing on names and descriptions.

3️⃣ 🔡 I demonstrate the Montessori color-coded alphabet with phonetic letter sounds and photos. We sound out and discuss phonetic words such as "dig," "frogs" and "sunset." 

4️⃣ 📝 Using the dotted-font word list provided, I demonstrate writing each word twice while saying the letter sounds.

5️⃣ 📖 With guidance, the learner reads each label, use the word in a sentence, and observes as I match each label with a picture. Fun discussion is included!

6️⃣ 🎉 I guide a fun cooperative BINGO game, emphasizing picture description, conversation and letter sounds. If the learner feels ready to read books aloud, we will also read a short digital book from Pioneer Valley Books, via screen-sharing.

😊 My teaching style is warm, attentive and patient. This class is similar to a Montessori classroom experience; an enthusiastic one-on-one lesson on vocabulary, letter sounds, spelling, conversation, and learning to read! We'll end each meeting with a brief goodbye song with live autoharp accompaniment.

Each session focuses on 8 words for writing and reading with an additional 8 words on the BINGO game, such as "map, fins, pigpen, hut, pump, mist, plant, robin" and "mop, belt, wax, wig, squint, web, ants, pom-pom"
