In this multi day class, learners will have the opportunity to practice static division work without regrouping using the Montessori Stamp game. We’ll begin by making introductions, having a brief icebreaker and overviewing the class rules. As a review, we will go over the colors and components of the stamp game, introducing the green skittles as part of our new division work. Learners will be exposed to the following division terminology: divisor, dividend , and quotient. We will also learn...
Students will improve their understanding of the division process through practice and activities using the Montessori stamp game material.

Students will be provided with printable copies of the following: Color coded stamp game grid paper (for several problems) Color coded paper stamps (1-1000), 1 sheet of each with 1”x1” stamps and skittles Color and black & white printable division problems Students will need paper, colored pencils, regular pencil, and scissors (parental guidance recommended) for cutting stamps if not done before class. If students have the real stamp game, that can be used as well!
