In this multi day class, learners will have the opportunity to be introduced to the decimal fraction board. We will show through demonstration the values that are represented on this Montessori math material. The direct aim for these classes is to be able to form and read decimal numbers using horizontal number symbol cards placed on the board. Students will improve their understanding of decimal numbers by using the Montessori decimal board through a variety of student centered, activities and exercises.
I am a certified Montessori teacher in the 6 to 9 curriculum, and have a large amount of experience teaching Montessori math lessons.

Parental guidance is recommended for use of scissors if learners are cutting out digital number symbol cards.
