In this multi week class, students will experience the Montessori presentations of The Year and Its Parts. After making introductions and reviewing the class rules, learners will see an interactive Canva slide show with Montessori year/week nomenclature materials. Upon completion of the lesson, learners can discuss which part of the year/week is their favorite and why. Follow up activities will be based on an student choice board, with nine creative options. Week 1, Session 1, Students...
Students will improve their understanding of and knowledge of how the months of the year and days of the week are named based on ancient history. This will be achieved through lesson content followed by practice with student centered activities.
