In this one time class, learners will have the unique opportunity to learn about the layers of the Earth through multiple hands on activities. After brief introductions and an overview of the rules, we will see a dynamic slideshow presentation. This will depict the layers of the Earth through photographs and short video clips. Paper of various sizes (1 large, 1 standard) Coloring items such as crayons, markers or colored pencils Cotton balls Toothpicks Scissors 1 large onion (white or yellow) Small knife Cutting board Small dish Water 1 drop food coloring
