Students will receive a short art history lesson on the artist Wayne Thiebaud and discuss his subject matter. Then they will be given a tutorial on a type of dessert or desserts they can make. We will discuss basic clay techniques as we build our creations together. At the end of class, the students can show their awesome creations to their classmates.

Hi! I am an Elementary Art Teacher in Colorado. I love creating and fostering a love for art, starting at a young age. I do this by helping students have a strong understanding of art history and techniques famous artists have used, as well as an emphasis on the elements of art and principles of design.
