This high energy class is an introduction to the basic techniques of Mixed Martial Arts. Techniques from Boxing, Muay Thai, Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Jiu Jitsu and Israeli Defense will be taught individually and combined into combinations. A pad (something like a pillow) that can used to practice techniques on.
Parents should observe all classes to be aware of techniques being taught. I encourage parents to practice techniques with students outside of class. Please make sure proper workout attire (t-shirt and shorts) is worn. Socks are not recommended as they may cause the student to slip. Make sure that students have an area clear of obstructions so they can safely practice kicks, punches and ground techniques.
