👩‍🏫 Miss Anna is hosting a fun and unique virtual talent show where kiddos with any kind of fun, unique, original, or just all-around awesome talents can showcase them for kind and supportive kids around the world. All kiddos / performers are welcome to perform for others using their fun, creative and unique gifts! All talents welcome! From performing a dance number to performing a magic trick! We want it see it all! 🥰

🤔 You may be wondering...."What makes this talent show unique?"
✨Well, THIS talent show was created with kind, welcoming and inclusive kiddos in mind....AND IT IS REALLY HOSTED LIKE A REAL IN PERSON TALENT SHOW!

-Miss Anna will need to know what talent your child is performing at least 24 hours in advance  ( sooner if possible)  because she makes this event TRULY MAGICAL for all its attendees / performers. 

-Miss Anna communicates with each family before hand to plan the event in order to give both Miss Anna any child who attends ample time to prepare them for the virtual stage! 
( Miss Anna literally spends hours upon hours communicating with families and setting up her virtual classroom for this event so please make sure you check your Outschool messages for communication from her often if you want your child to be able to get the truly magical experience intended .)

-Kids will not only have the opportunity to showcase their talents for me and others in a kind and supportive environment of kiddos but they will be active participants in the ENTIRE event!

- Just as they would in any of my classes...KIDS will not just be watching their new friends at this event perform BUT will also be expected to be playing the vital role of kind, warm, and friendly audience members while we all cheer on  the other kids performing too! This is called "Miss Anna's Friendly Talent Show " after all!

🤔You may also find yourself thinking....What else should I know about this talent show event?
- Well, this is a great class for kids who have already taken my friendship clubs and other inclusive classes will get to meet the other kind kiddos who take classes with me and show off their skills in a warm & supportive environment with kiddos from around the world! Kids will get to not only perform, but also support one another as they build confidence in their skills and help others build confidence too!

-This is a warm and welcoming space meant to help kids build confidence in their abilities in a fun and low pressure way!! Kids will have fun practicing their public speaking skills while addressing an audience of their peers.

🥳These things are all AWESOME, but really only the tip of the iceberg!

If your kiddo has any kind of Cool, Fun, Classical, Academic, Silly, Unique, Strange, or just all around AWESOME kind of talent that they want to showcase, WE WANT TO SEE IT!

HERES WHAT TO EXPECT:
First, The show ( class ) will begin with some friendly hello’s as Miss Anna and the children exchange quick greetings and warm welcomes.

Next, Miss Anna will set the stage as she whimsically introduces each child and their unique, fun, or awesome talent as they take the stage in the virtual spotlight! 

Finally, Each child will be given ample time ( 3 - 5 minutes total ) to perform their talent and answer questions one or two questions from the “audience” about their awesome talents too! 

🥳 This gives kids the opportunity to practice a variety of life skills, like:
- Building Confidence
- Public Speaking
- Socialization 
- Performing In Front Of Others
- Patience While Waiting Their Turn
- Reading Social Cues
- Giving & Receiving Compliments
- Showing Gratitude
- Becoming Comfortable In The Spotlight

👀Kiddos will not only get to show off a talent, but they will get to enjoy watching other kids around the world showing off theirs too!

🎉Miss Anna hosts this show with big energy and positive vibes to encourage to set a fun and kind event atmosphere! She encourages lots of Encouragement, Compliments, Standing Ovations, and Fun Ways To Show Our Appreciation For Each Others Talents!

👩‍🏫Miss Anna will outline and follow a structured routine so the events performers know what expect and ensure all the kiddos have enough time to perform.

🙏PARENTS: Please plan to let Miss Anna know what kind of talent your child will be performing at least 3 days in advance of the start date of the event so she can let you know the order of the performs and when your child should expect to get ready to perform. 
(The exception being if you enroll less than 72 hours before the start of the event, in that case please plan to send Miss Anna a note to inform her of your child's talent they plan to perform at least shortly after you enroll *within the hour*)

Frequently Asked Questions:

-Can My Child Sing A Song?
🤗 YES! Singing is always welcome, but of course ALL songs being performed MUST Be Kid Friendly and approved by Miss Anna in advance. A photo of lyrics must be sent to Miss Anna for approval at least 48 hours in advance of class/event starting.
If a song has a lyric/s that Miss Anna feels is not the right fit for her virtual classroom, she will ask kids to choose a different song to perform. 

-WHAT IF MY CHILD WANTS TO SHOWCASE A TALENT NOT LISTED ABOVE?
🧑‍💻ALL performers who want to perform are welcome. If you are not sure the talent your child wants to perform would be considered "kid friendly or age appropriate" PLEASE make sure to send Miss Anna a message with any questions you may have about the show or your performance at least 48 hours prior to the start of class to make sure Miss Anna has time to read and reply to your question. 

-AM I ABLE TO ASSIST MY CHILD OFF CAMERA IF NEEDED
😊 OF COURSE. While parents are not permitted on camera due to Outschool safety policies, they are welcome to stand nearby and provide assistance if needed while remaining out of the view of the camera.  They are also welcome to play accompanying music for their child out of the view of the zoom camera if they would like to and if the performance would benefit from music while they perform of course. 

(Please note when sharing any kind of music through the computer YOUR FAMILY will need to adjust their sound sharing options on their zoom account before class begins in order to make sure we can hear any instruments or stereo speakers being played)

-CAN MY NEURODIVERGENT CHILD JOIN THIS CLASS TOO?
🥰 ABSOLUTELY!!! This class is extremely inclusive to all kinds of children and their unique talents as long as the talent performed is kid friendly (appropriate for children of young ages.)

- WILL I NEED TO ADJUST MY COMPUTERS ZOOM SETTINGS TO ALLOW THE AUDIENCE TO PROPERLY HEAR MY CHILDS INSTRUMENT OR MUSICAL TALENT?
Yes! Please plan to do this well in advance to the start of the class/performance to avoid any hold ups due to technical difficulties during the live event. Once you enroll you can watch the video I provided in the virtual classroom that shows the steps of how to adjust your devices sound in Zoom.

-WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THIS UNIQUE CLASS?

🤔If Your Asking Yourself …..Is 5 Minutes Really Long Enough To Showcase My Kids Talent?
The answer is most likely, YES! 😀
*Please note that 5 Minutes is a very long time in the virtual world, and the time limit is given so all children get to showcase their talents! This time frame was carefully chosen and should be more than sufficient for most children to display their talents…I promise!  

🙏 Parents please plan to help your child practice a few times before the Talent Show event to help ensure their performance is between 3 - 5 minutes total. This is crucial to giving all the kids their time to shine in the spotlight!

💭 If you find yourself concerned about the time frame, please send Miss Anna a private message before enrolling to describe your child’s unique talent and request extra time.
Miss Anna will reply within 24 hours to let you know if she can accommodate your request! 

⏱This class may run 5 - 10 minutes longer than the posted class time to accommodate all students performances without making them feel rushed.
