Welcome to Superpower School! In this 90 minute class, students will be taught to code using Minecraft and give themselves amazing superpowers! They will build themselves a really cool school, where they can experiment with their superpowers in a safe environment!

Important: This class requires the Minecraft Education Edition software to be downloaded prior to joining (no other edition will work). We will give you login details for it once you sign up for the class.

Teaching Methodology:

Our approach is project-based. We strongly believe that engaged, happy students are the best learners. Our projects have an end goal, and most are game based. We use coding to solve a problem. We have up to 6 student in this class, allowing the class to be interactive with lots of opportunities to ask questions and share knowledge. 

What you would need:

- Minecraft Education Edition (no other edition will work. Login details for the education edition will be provided)
- Zoom on a separate device (tablet or laptop/computer)

Age Requirement: 
7 to 12

No prior coding experience necessary. Minecraft playing experience would be helpful, but not absolutely necessary.

We will not be joining a multiplayer world. The students will remain in their own world but there will be plenty of opportunities to "show and tell". This is a class where students are expected to come prepared to learn and not just play in Minecraft.
