In this 5-day camp, learners will use creative mode on Bedrock Minecraft to create many different builds. Each class will have a different theme and learners will have 45 minutes to build each theme. I will monitor and help learners as needed. We will talk about some of the different building styles we can use when building things like houses to let their imaginations soar. Day one- This day will introduce learners to Pixel art and allow them to create any pixel art they choose or to try and build the one that I will provide in class. (This will be Minecraft-themed) Learners will be able to use all materials needed to create the best pixel art they can create. Pixel art is an art that can be created by pixels, each pixel is a certain color, and once they are together create a picture. Day Two- Learners will be building their dream home. They can either use an idea they already know, like the layout of their own home or they can create an entirely new layout and make their dream home. They will have all the materials to build the best home they can. Day Three- In Minecraft one of the most terrifying places to go is the Nether. Learners will have 45 minutes to create a Portal fitting for the lava-filled Nether. They will have all the materials so they can open their minds and create an awesome portal. Day four- Learners will have 45 minutes to make a working roller coaster. The coaster can be as big or as small as they like. They can make it tall and thrilling or slow and steady. Learners will have access to all materials to create the best roller coaster. Day Five- We sail the open seas when learners create a ship or boat that can plunder the seven seas or sail tourists to their destinations. The sea-bearing vessels can be as big as they can make them, or keep them small and make an armada. Learners will have all the materials to create their unsinkable ships.

Parents please be aware that Microsoft requires players who join Realms (my server) to have an account of 13 years or older. While I understand many parents have their learners accounts at their age, Microsoft does not allow accounts that are 12 and below to join. Please if you are creating a Microsoft account for your learner please be aware of this and set the age older than 13. My server is only accessible to myself and my students. No other people are allowed in.

Minecraft Bedrock edition Console to play the game: Xbox One (must have an Xbox live acct) Switch (must have Switch Online), PlayStation (must have PlayStation Network), Cell Phone, Tablet or Computer (with internet access) This is the link for Minecraft on the computer, this will give you both Java and Bedrock versions. This class will be for the Bedrock version. https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/store/minecraft-java-bedrock-edition-pc Game must be Bedrock, Java (computer only) will not work for this class. After the student signs up I will email you the link so you can get the code and join my realm. Players MUST have a Microsoft account and the profile must be set to above the age of 13 before they will be able to join any Realm. Microsoft does not allow accounts that are set below 13 to join Realm servers.

LATE/MISSED CLASS POLICY
All courses will begin on time as long as one learner is in the classroom. If no students are in the classroom at the assigned class time, the teacher will leave a message on the discussion board and exit after 10 minutes. No refunds for missed classes per Outschool's policy.

I can respond directly to schedule requests! I check my requests daily and I will accommodate as many as I can! I also will accommodate the desire for private lessons, please message me about times and fees.

SIBLINGS:
If you have more than one learner enrolled in the class, each learner that wants to participate must be enrolled to be fair to other students participating. Enrolled siblings are always welcome to share a screen during class.

REFUNDS & TRANSFERS:
Per Outschool's limited refund policy: "Full refund within 24 hours of purchase or up to a week in advance of the class.", missed appointments do not qualify for a refund. I will be glad to transfer your learner to another section but require 24 hours notice.
Ongoing classes:
If a student needs to skip a week, please unsubscribe from the class and then resubscribe when you need to join again as the student is taking a spot in the class. Please make sure you unsubscribe within 24 hours of payment on Sunday to ensure your refund.
For On-Going Private classes:
If a student is late to class I will wait the required 10 minutes, unless contacted before class stating the student will be late.

Per Outschool policy, there are no refunds for missed classes. I will be glad to transfer your learner to another section but require 24 hours notice. This timing is necessary to fill the spot you are vacating. If I transfer you on short notice, I may not be able to fill your original spot, which means you are taking up two spots but only paying for one.
