This two-day Nature Journaling course will develop children’s writing, science, art, critical thinking and research skills. Through copy-work students will prepare ten inspiring and fun journal pages. Student's will learn what makes an interesting Nature Journal, benefits of Nature Journaling, engage in classroom discussions, learn different journaling techniques, and have the opportunity to share their journal entries in the classroom. I will help by scaffolding children's ideas and journal...
Student's will improve their observational skills, critical thinking skills and written output without even knowing they are learning! They will have so much fun exploring and looking for inspiration all around them for entries in their Nature Journal that, with a little of guidance and background knowledge can provide such an organic and rich learning experience.
