In this creative and calming class, students will explore the art of dot painting while learning new techniques each week. We'll cover everything from basic dotting patterns and symmetry to creating mandala-inspired designs and nature-based art like flowers, animals, or galaxies—all using simple tools and step-by-step guidance.

Each class begins with a brief check-in and warm-up, followed by a live demonstration of the week’s technique. Then, we dot together! I guide students in real time, offering tips and encouragement as they create their own unique artwork. We end by sharing our pieces (if learners feel comfortable), celebrating creativity and growth.

My teaching style is gentle, encouraging, and hands-on. I believe art is a beautiful way to express ourselves and connect. Students can ask questions, share ideas, and talk about their process as we go. This is not a lecture-style class—it's interactive and relaxed, with plenty of space for imagination and fun!

Learners will get personal interaction throughout the session with opportunities to comment, ask questions, and receive direct feedback while they work. No experience is needed—just curiosity and a love for art!

Washable paint like tempera or acrylic craft paint (brands like Americana, Apple Barrel, or Craft Smart work great but can stain permanently)
Look for a smooth, creamy consistency—not too thick like pudding, but not runny like water (similar to house paint)
