Because every book in Fix It! Grammar is foundational to the book after it, ensuring your student completes the previous book or has mastered the grammar concepts presented in the former book is important. The lessons in this course will teach creative writing and report writing using IEW Structure and Style. Structure teaches students how to organize their thoughts before they write. Style teaches students how to engage the reader with literary devices called dress-ups and decorations in IEW. This course also incorporates Fix It! Grammar Book 4. Students watch the video lesson and complete the work each week prior to class day. This class will use GOOGLE CLASSROOM to upload all homework and receive feedback and grades. On class day, the content covered in the video lesson is reinforced and opportunities for students to share their work with peers is provided.
