수업 소개
This class is perfect for teens who want to improve their acting skills, especially when it comes to learning and performing monologues. Whether learners are preparing for auditions or just love acting for fun, this class builds both memory and performance skills in a fun, low-pressure environment. Each week, we’ll work on: ⇢Memorization strategies that actually work ⇢Understanding the meaning and emotion behind the words ⇢Voice, movement, and facial expression ⇢Confidence in front of an audience (even if it's just our Zoom group!) We’ll start each class with a quick warm-up or game to get focused. Then we’ll break down a short monologue together—learning it in steps, exploring the character’s feelings, and practicing how to say it like we mean it. Learners will also have time to work on their own monologues and share with the group if they’d like (no pressure!). My teaching style is supportive, upbeat, and student-focused. I give lots of encouragement and helpful tips. Every learner gets a chance to shine—and we celebrate each other's growth and creativity. In middle and high school, I won local and regional oratorical contests, which helped me learn how to memorize and perform powerful pieces with confidence. I also write and perform original plays and poetry, and one of my plays was performed for an audience of over 1,000 people!
I love helping young actors discover their own voice, build their confidence, and own the stage. Whether your learner is new to acting or already experienced, they’ll leave this class stronger, more focused, and ready to shine.

Hi, call me Miss Vikki! I teach a variety of classes designed to help you grow in the areas of reading, acting, performing, entertainment, and personal development. I offer classes like Dr. Seuss Reading Time, Getting Ready for Elementary, Middle School, and High School, Saturday Theatre Playhouse, Learning Monologues for Speaking Success, and Ideas-Action-Film. I truly value your talents and dreams, and I’m committed to helping you succeed.
In addition, I’m a certified substitute teacher, and through my experience, I’ve witnessed how a lack of reading and spelling skills can negatively affect a child’s self-esteem. When children don’t know how to read or spell, they often disengage and may act out, masking their frustration as rebellion. In my classes, I create a safe and supportive environment where students can learn, re-learn, and gain confidence so they can feel successful in and out of the classroom.리뷰
