교사를 만나보세요: 토론 또는 평가를 위한 미니 세션

I recognize the commitment involved in enrolling in a full-semester course, so I've created a one-time, 15-minute 'meet and greet' to allow prospective students to meet and interact with me before making a decision on any of my longer courses. 

My goals for this short time are to get to know a learner, answer any questions a learner may have regarding my classes, and allow families to better determine if my personality and teaching style are right for them.  

During our time together, the topics of conversation may include:

1. General getting-to-know-you questions and conversation. Feel free to share any interesting information about yourself - hobbies, interests, pets, academic concerns, etc.

2. Student questions about my teaching style, my classroom expectations, and the specific learning experience and materials for any specific course.

3. Any information that a student wants me to know about themselves regarding specific learning needs they might have and how I can help them to be successful in the course.

4. An assessment of a learner's current skill level in order to facilitate proper placement in one of my semester classes. I'm happy to help match a student's abilities with a course that best fits their needs - one that will challenge them to grow, but not overwhelm or frustrate them.
