The best way to start a meditation practice is to be consistent, which is why we will meet for every day for one week! In this camp students will learn and practice a variety of meditation styles and breathing techniques. The class rhythm will start with our greeting time to check in, a mindfulness activity, breathing practice, and guided mediation story. The optimal learning environment is a quiet, comfortable space. Students may sit up or lay down for the meditation and breathing practices. I like to invite students to get cozy using pillows, blankets, or a stuffed animal.
