In Math Masters: Summer Bridge to 6th Grade Success, students will be introduced to key 6th-grade math concepts through engaging and interactive lessons. This course focuses on building a strong foundation in ratios, the number system (including fractions and decimals), expressions, equations, and operations with fractions. How is your class structured? The course is divided into four units, each focusing on a different area of 6th-grade math. Each unit contains two lessons, making eight sessions over four weeks. Each session is 45 minutes long of instruction, hands-on activities, and interactive games. How will you teach? My teaching style is interactive and student-centered, focusing on making math fun and accessible. I use a variety of teaching methods, including: -Mini-lessons to introduce and explain key concepts -Hands-on activities and practical applications to reinforce learning -Interactive games and challenges to make learning engaging -Group discussions and collaborative problem-solving I believe in a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel confident to explore new concepts and ask questions. My teaching style is enthusiastic and encouraging, aiming to make math enjoyable and to inspire a love for learning. How much will learners get to interact with you? Learners will have ample opportunities to interact with me and their peers during each session. Specific interactions include: -Direct instruction and mini-lessons with opportunities for questions -Group activities and discussions to foster collaboration -Interactive games and challenges to apply concepts in a fun way -Individual feedback and support during hands-on activities By the end of the course, students will have gained a solid understanding of key math concepts and be well-prepared for the transition to 6th grade. Hey there! I'm Marline Paul, the CEO of Enilram Creative Solutions. With more than 17 years of experience as an educator and business coach, I offer a variety of exciting classes designed to inspire and empower students. These include Entrepreneurship for Teens, AI and Creativity, Digital Content Creation, Creative Writing and Publishing, Art and Design, Math Mastery, Podcast Production, and Summer Innovation Camps. My classes are interactive and fun, helping students to develop practical skills while pursuing their passions.
Professionally, I specialize in empowering women entrepreneurs through strategic business coaching. I hold a BA in Business Management and an MA in Divinity. My experience includes developing and teaching curriculum, coaching over 1700 entrepreneurs, and facilitating programs for the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center. I have extensive experience in math education, digital content creation, and using AI tools to bring creative ideas to life.
My teaching philosophy is all about empowerment, creativity, and practical application. I believe in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students can gain confidence, explore their interests, and develop valuable skills. I focus on personalized coaching, hands-on projects, and community fostering. My goal is to inspire students to think critically, solve problems creatively, and pursue their dreams with confidence.
On a fun and personal note, I love teaching both young people and adults, sharing my creativity and knowledge with others. I am a proud mom and a Boy Scout mom, and I enjoy using my son’s gifts to create unique projects. I used to be a middle school math teacher for 17 years and loved creating fun projects and experiences for my students to learn at their unique pace and according to their abilities.
