Welcome to "Grade 5 Math Marvels Full curriculum Course"! As an experienced 5th-grade educator with 20 years of teaching experience, I am excited to guide students on their journey to math mastery. This ongoing curriculum support class is specifically designed to help students excel in math by focusing on key Common Core skills relevant to 5th-grade mathematics. Our class sessions are held weekly, and students also have the option to engage in additional assignments after class to further enhance their understanding and skills.

In this class, I draw upon my extensive 20-year experience of homeschooling, teaching in a classroom setting, and teaching over 800 students remotely to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of mathematical procedures, concepts, and reasoning. Each week, we'll dive into a specific skill, such as place value, through interactive and engaging class activities. Students will have the opportunity to use an interactive application to annotate problem solutions, collaborate with their peers, and participate in enjoyable game quizzes.  We will also review 4th grade math standards as we go through the curriculum. Throughout the curriculum, we'll also incorporate math games to keep the learning experience exciting and dynamic. The structure of the class is designed not only to help students understand math concepts but also to develop an appreciation for the problem-solving process itself. Regardless of previous exposure to math, I'm confident that this class will ignite enthusiasm for math's practical applications in real life.

Learning doesn't stop when the class ends. I am dedicated to supporting student growth and understanding beyond our weekly sessions.
