I offer tutoring sessions for students who are struggling in high school math including 6th & 7th grade math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2 and Precalculus.  I help students by giving them strategies for approaching problems.  I find that students' confidence levels rise when they have true understanding of a concept and are given a step by step approach of finding the answer.  Sometimes lack of confidence is the main deterrent for success in math.  I love seeing the lightbulb come on for students who have always believed that they were "bad at math".  I believe that everyone can be successful in math.

I will work many example problems giving the student opportunity to ask questions throughout.  Students will then have the chance to work problems with the teachers assistance (if necessary).  Practice problems can be provided at the request of the student or parent.  Practice problems would include solutions.
