What will be taught: Students learn the rules of multiplying and dividing powers. Students will learn how to multiply and divide powers that have the same base and add/subtract the exponents and keep the same base. Students will also solve problems to evaluate if for example: x =3, y=4 or z= 1 Students will simplify polynomials and work on practicing multiplying and dividing powers. Students will practice using exponents and solve numerical coefficients. How will the lesson be taught: Slides, lecture, discussion, students engagement. Students must have some knowledge of beginning algebra.

Parental guidance is helpful in case of technical difficulty or help for logging on to the zoom. Students do not need any expensive toys, furnishings or other items. They do need well designed space that is safe for the student to do activities/projects. Parental guidance is necessary incase student needs help with an activity with guidance. Such as gluing, cutting with scissors etc. There are no third party websites that will be used for each week for the lessons or signing in for accounts.
