What will be taught:
Students will learn an equation is a mathematical sentence which states that two quantities are equal. 
Students will learn there will be an unknown number in the equation, represented by a letter. 
Students will learn how they will solve the letter of the unknown number, by finding the value. 
Students will learn how to solve equations problems, fractions in equations, and decimals in equations. 
How will the lesson be taught:
Students will practice problems to solve equations, through white board, discussion, Doc cam, slides. 
Great for students who need a review or just learning equations for the first time.

Students will understand and know how to solve equation sentence which states that two quantities are equal. Students will know and understand how to solve the unknown in the equation that the letter represents an unknown number. Students will understand and know how to solve equations problems, fractions in equations, and decimals in equations.

Parental guidance is helpful in case of technical difficulty or help for logging on to the zoom. Students do not need any expensive toys, furnishings or other items. They do need well designed space that is safe for the student to do activities/projects. Parental guidance is necessary incase student needs help with an activity with guidance. Such as gluing, cutting with scissors etc. There are no third party websites that will be used for each week for the lessons or signing in for accounts.
