단어 문제 마스터링: 싱가포르 수학 막대 모델(2학년/3학년)(여름 프로그램)

This ongoing class will focus on tackling word problems using the Singapore Math Bar Models. Learners will learn how to break down challenging word problems to improve logical thinking skills. The learning journey begins with the concrete and pictorial stages, followed by the abstract stage to enable them to learn mathematics meaningfully. This approach encourages advanced (higher-order) thinking process, communication of mathematical ideas and problem solving. 

Prerequisite:
Learners are expected to know and familiar with calculations of 2 digit addition and subtraction.
Learners are expected to have the concept of basic multiplication and division (within the 10x10 multiplication table) before July 11 which the multiplication model will be discussed.
