In this fifth part of Mastering Algebra, we will concentrate on Complex Numbers, Quadratic Equations, Radical Equations, Rational Expressions and Equations. Who can join? Everyone, from a beginner wanting a head start, to an experienced Algebra student that needs additional practice, as well as homeschool students needing math instructions. Either way, this is the class for you.

I am a Texas certified teacher who was a High School teacher for 13 years, a college professor for 6 years, and am currently an online high school mathematics teacher teaching Algebra 2 Saxon, Algebra 2 AoPS and Precalculus AoPS. I have a Master’s in Mathematics Science and a second Master’s in Mathematics Education.

There are no materials to purchase or accounts to be created. All material/access will be available in the Outschool class, provided by the teacher. We will be using FREE Open Educational Resources.
A few pieces of information: 1. There are no live classes, objectives and materials are posted every Monday 2. Materials build on previous lessons, so is important not to skip a lesson 3. While it is a FLEX course, if requested, students will have weekly graded assignments due Sunday 4. Students can always contact the teacher directly if there are any questions, expect a 24hr delay/response at most 5.
