This is a 5 lesson course over 5 weeks that will teach everything there is to know about Cephalopods. Cephalopods include: octopuses, squids, cuttlefish and nautilus. Class #1 will cover the intelligent octopus. We will go over physiology (body parts) of the octopus, specific species names and how to identify them, jet propulsion, ink secretion, methods of hunting, intelligence and key facts about this animal. The goal of this course is to be able to: identify the 4 main branches of Cephalopod, name certain body parts of each, identify the differences between each Cephalopod, understand key words in science such as "Bioluminescence", "Cuttlebone" and "Aposematism". There is a lot of information to cover in these lessons but they are designed to cover almost everything there is to know about the Cephalopod group.
Lesson #5 requires a piece of blank paper and crayons or markers or pencil crayons.
