Second Language Acquisition and how the brain acquires languages at each age is a topic I've been researching for years. Having learned both Mandarin Chinese and Spanish fluently along with teaching each language to my own children and to others, it has become my passion. I know what it's like being an English speaker learning Mandarin Chinese and I know what parts of learning the language are difficult and what methods work to overcome those obstacles.
