Cat lovers are invited to come together and share their love of everything feline in this fun, interactive and creative lickable cat treat cooking class! Meet my kitten, Taylor Swift, and join us as we make yummy homemade treats using fresh ingredients. We'll also learn how to make a pouch for serving up the treat.

In this class you'll learn why cats like treats so much and find out how to choose the right type of treats for your cat.  Did you know that soft, lickable treats have more water content than dry treats, which can help your cat get more water into their diets?!

When given in moderation, treats are a great way to help you build a bond with your cat, rewarding good behaviour, using in training and much more. Consider cat treats a tasty reward. Whether you're teaching your cat to use their litter tray, to stay calm in their pet carrier, or even to roll over, the trick is to reward them when they get it right. This is known as positive reinforcement. Keep in mind when giving treats to cats, it's important to limit them to a small portion, typically no more than 10% of their daily calorie intake.

Class begins with group introductions and students are encouraged to introduce their cats, if their cats want to be introduced. Ha! Meet my kitten, Taylor Swift!
