We will begin class by reviewing nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs. The students will take turns giving a word that matched the part of speech needed for the story. These words will be typed in the chatbox. Then the students will take turns reading the stories that were written by the teacher and filling in the missing words. The stories will be about funny new year's resolutions and a kid's new year's party. If there is time, the students may complete a third story about a fun New Year's Day parade. The students may also write their own sentences for the other students to complete if there is time at the end of class.
