In this one-time class, students will draw hearts in a variety of sizes. Through the step-by-step guided drawing process provided by the teacher, students will use simple lines and shapes and add their choice of details, colors, and media to color and/or paint a design of hearts that appear to be hanging from the ceiling, as if for a celebration. Because students work at varied paces, artwork may or may not be finished/colored before class ends. Students who finish after class has ended are encouraged to photograph and upload their creations into the classroom!

Paper (heavy paper, such as watercolor paper is recommended if the student chooses to paint their picture) pencils, sharpener, eraser Black Sharpie marker choice of media for coloring: crayons, colored pencils, watercolor pencils, markers, watercolor paint, or any combination.
