This class used the 'Grammar Hammer' homework scheme. This is a structured program used in many primary schools in the UK; it is carefully designed to enhance students' grammar proficiency through consistent practice and assessment. Each week, learners will be assigned grammar exercises covering various topics such as punctuation, parts of speech and sentence structure. After completing these assignments, they will submit them to their tutor via the Outschool classroom. In this class, we willcover the essentials of grammar, including nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, punctuation marks, sentence structure, and more. 📚 What topics will you cover? Our journey will take us through different 'planets' or destinations across the galaxy, each representing a key topic in grammar. 1. Noun Nebula: Understanding and identifying nouns 2. Verb Vortex: Exploring different types of verbs and their uses 3. Adjective Asteroids: Learning how adjectives enhance sentences 4. Punctuation Planets: Mastering punctuation marks and their proper placement (.,?!;:-) 5. Sentence Starship: Constructing well-formed sentences 🏫 How is your class structured? The class is divided into weekly sessions, each focusing on one of the topics listen above. If needed, learners will spend multiple sessions on one area. Each session will include: 1.
